Highlights from the 20th Cycle Winter and Spring School in Bardonecchia

We just wrapped up the Winter and Spring Schools in Bardonecchia (TO) for the ASP students of the 20th Cycle. Themed “Design Methods and Processes” and “Dynamics of Innovation,” these courses were coordinated by Prof. Gaetano Cascini and Prof. Marco Cantamessa.

The first two days featured speeches and teamwork on topics like design, research, and innovation, with tutorials on Problem Framing, Idea Selection, and Concept Formulation.

Midweek kicked off with pitch presentation preparations and the best poster pitch presentations, followed by the awards and conclusion of the “Design Methods and Processes” School. In the afternoon, the “Dynamics of Innovation” School began with lectures and tutorials on the Business Model Canvas by Leo Italiano and Giovanni Arigliani from i3p, and a session on the process from invention to innovation led by School tutors.

The final days were packed with intensive teamwork on new Business Model Canvas projects, comprehensive reviews, and feedback sessions, culminating in the exciting best pitch presentations and awards.

A huge thank you to Gaetano Cascini, Marco Cantamessa, and the tutors Teresa Monti, Graziana Blandino, Samuele Colombo, Francesco Luigi Milone, Federico Morosi, and Shumin Li for their invaluable contributions and guidance throughout this journey.
