The Call for Applications for the 23rd Cycle of Alta Scuola Politecnica (academic year 2026/27) is open from July 28th, 2026, for Italian and international students (EU and non-EU).
Application deadline: September 30th, 2026, at 11:59 PM (CET – Central European Time, Italy).
Selection procedures will be carried out separately at PoliMi and PoliTo.
ASP Selection Process 2026–27 – Invitation to the Remote Motivational Interview
Pursuant to Article 5 of the Call for Applications for the 23rd cycle of Alta Scuola Politecnica, applicants admitted to the second step of the selection process are invited to attend a motivational interview in English.
In consideration of the high number of applicants admitted to the second step, the interview will be conducted remotely through the submission of a short personal video, with a maximum total duration of 90 seconds. The video must be recorded personally by the applicant, in English and in a single continuous take, and must include answers to the following questions:
- Self-presentation
Please introduce yourself in a few words. What personal quality or experience best represents you?
- Communication skills
Think of a complex issue that matters to you. How would you explain its relevance to a person from a different academic background?
- Motivation and commitment to the programme
Why do you wish to join ASP, and how do you see yourself contributing actively to its learning community?
The video, with a maximum file size of 10 MB, must be uploaded no later than 11:00 p.m. Italian time on October, 27 2026, using the following link:

Please note that, you must use your official PoliMi account (name.surname@mail.polimi.it)
For the purpose of correctly identifying the application, the file must be named according to the following format:
Surname_Name_PersonCode
Applicants may be assigned a maximum of 60 points for their performance in the interview. In accordance with the criteria specified in the Call for Applications, the Evaluation Committee will assess:
* communication skills;
* content of the motivation letter and commitment to the programme;
* self-presentation;
* fluency in spoken English.
Failure to submit the video by the specified deadline will result in permanent exclusion from the selection process, pursuant to Article 5 of the Call for Applications.
