On 11 February 2026, the Politecnico di Milano hosted ASP Day 2026, a meaningful occasion dedicated to the students of the Alta Scuola Politecnica.
The event marked a symbolic passing of the torch between generations: students who successfully completed the 20th Cycle gathered alongside those who have just embarked on their journey in the 22nd Cycle. It was a moment of celebration, recognition, and shared vision — honoring achievements while welcoming new challenges.
Beyond the ceremony, ASP Day also offered an opportunity to highlight the distinctive educational model of the Alta Scuola Politecnica. The program integrates advanced Master’s degree studies with a parallel path of excellence — multidisciplinary, cross-cutting, and strongly innovation-oriented. This unique structure prepares students to tackle complex challenges with both specialist expertise and a broad systemic perspective.
Entrepreneurship, technological innovation, and social transformation were at the heart of the keynote contributions that enriched the day.
Giusy Cannone, ASP alumna and climate tech investor, shared insights into innovation ecosystems and sustainable entrepreneurship. Her professional journey exemplifies how technical competence, strategic vision, and impact-driven investment can converge to generate meaningful change.
Derrick de Kerckhove, internationally renowned sociologist and one of the world’s leading experts on new media, offered a broader reflection on the transformations shaping contemporary society, highlighting the role of technology and communication in redefining human interaction and collective intelligence.
ASP Day 2026 reaffirmed the mission of the Alta Scuola Politecnica: to cultivate outstanding talents capable of creating value in complex and evolving environments — professionals ready not only to adapt to change, but to drive it.
